Its been very long that i have posted anything on my blog as my personal commitments kept me busy and since now i have got the time to revamp my blog i thought of writing a small blog post on my top 5 photos of the month of November. Its been a month (November) that i am back in Singapore and i have shot on all the weekends since then so here we go

Copper Cheeked Frog This is one of the best image i shot of Copper Cheeked Frog

Fungus - Since i do not know the ID i have named it Yellow Cap Fungus My favorite Fungus to shoot. The yellow cap is around 1mm in size and over all size of this fungus is around 10mm.

Dog-Toothed Cat Snake I love snakes and i always wish to see and photograph one when i go out on my regular macro outing. I have seen this species once before (fully grown, this is a juvenile) but i was not able to shoot then but this time i was lucky.

Ant-Snatching Assassin Bug One of the best in camouflaging, kills and collects ants on its back to mimic (Kind of) their scent to catch more ants.

Brown Praying Mantis A very common sighting however a very unusual pose (for me) thanks a lot for stopping by and if you like my photos please leave me a comment to encourage me to post more and follow me on Facebook or twitter to follow regular bug pics update.

So we went to one of our very favorite place that Friday night in the month of April (post work of course, it really surprises me that i can have the energy to go out shooting on Friday night post work however do not have the same energy post work on any other day.. :-) probably it is because of the excitement that I can sleep till late the next day) anyway this spot has never disappointed us at night ever. we have something or the other to shoot all the time (cannot name the spot as per the norm followed among my fellow Macro photographer in Singapore).We were joined here by Masta Rudy, Anrico De Selva one of the newest member of our gang but has been shooting Macro for long. so we started shooting and were greeted by many bugs and two of the very unique sightings. This is one place I wanted to go and explore as this is one of the untouched places in Singapore and I was sure that it will be a Mini hot spot of Biodiversity and it did not disappoint us.

We took the last ferry out of Singapore to this place and reached our destination by 6:00 PM and by the time we set up our Tent for over night camping and cooked our food it was already 9:00 PM and I was feeling a bit restless as it was still an hour to go before we start shooting.


 I was able to locate this Beautiful Locust while at the entrance of the trail and quickly took a record shot. The Locust said Hi also (can u see his left leg up - :-))

Can you see the Fangs?

I have found these kind of structure many times in the wild however I never knew this is the work of a genius caterpillar who make these tiny structure with sticks and stay inside this. They are one of the true architect of the wild world.

Go Ahead Give it a closer Look

Yes you got it right this is no twig hanging but its a Spider. A twig like feather legged spider and looking at this guy i feel how fascinating nature is.
